Dusty Road Design & Print Brisbane

Dusty Road HTV is simply a breeze to work with! Its satin finish is vibrant, easy to weed and adheres to fabric like a dream! Must be used together with our special Mask.

One Mask Sheet is included with each patterned heat transfer vinyl order.
If you keep the sheet free of dust it can be used multiple times..

Our Patterned HTV must be placed on the cutting mat "pattern side up" and DO NOT using mirroring. Use Cricut setting (everyday iron-on)

Now cut your design and weed. If your design is hard to weed, make sure your cutting blade is sharp, or try selecting "more" under pressure.

Next, remove the paper backing from your clear mask sheet and apply it to your design with a Squeegee and burnish well.

Now you're ready to press! NOTE: Dusty Road HTV works best on pure cotton or cotton blends.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR EASYPRESS:
Set your temperature to 170 degrees Celcius (305 deg f) and wait for it to heat up.

Take the item you want to press your image onto (bag, clothes, scarf, etc)
and pre-heat it for 5 seconds to remove wrinkles and warm the fabric.

Peel the paper backing from your masked design.

Place your design onto the item and press with even pressure for 30 seconds (our mask can make direct contact with your easypress!!)

Carefully peel mask while still warm. Carefully peel mask while still warm. If your design does not release easily, wait for it to cool completely and try again. (NOTE! do not increase heat or press time, the image may burn) sometimes the design will stick if you wait for it to cool too long before removing it.

Place a piece of cotton over your design and press a second time for 20 seconds.

Your design will be properly pressed if you look closely and see the fabric texture on the design.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR HOME IRON:
Set your iron to "LINEN" and check that the steam setting is OFF. Wait a few minutes for it to heat up.

Take the item you want to press your image onto (bag, clothes, scarf, etc)
and iron it to remove wrinkles and warm the fabric.

Peel the paper backing from your masked design.

Place your design onto the item and cover it with a piece of cotton. (A pillowcase works great!) Press with even pressure for 15-20 seconds. Do not move the iron back and forth. (As each home iron is different, you may need to experiment and see what works best for you. We supply a practise piece for you to have a go so you won't waste your precious HTV!!)

Carefully peel mask while still warm. If your design does not release easily, wait for it to cool completely and try again. (NOTE! do not increase heat or press time, the image may burn) sometimes the design will stick if you wait for it to cool too long before removing it.

Place a piece of cotton over your design and press a second time for 10 seconds.

Your design will be properly pressed if you look closely and see the fabric texture on the design.
